Soon and The End

Fittingly, the prompt is “a farewell poem.” I feel like I need to take a long vacation, like Ram (although not in a Mexican prison) or perhaps, spend a month at Hamish Industries sleeping behind a desk to recover.

I did find out that I don’t have to kick my habit! Weekly prompts are offered and I can do it all again in November for a PAD Chapbook Challenge, which is great because I really did not want to write a novel for NaNoWriMo

Here’s my poem of Farewell, called Soon.

Since this is not the beginning,
why am I feeling newly born,
every nano piercing?

Fragments flail

about, crash landing.

Our mosaic.

Remembrance seals

them, caulking jagged edge

to unmatched other.
