I am the Salt in the Ocean

I am a spiritual warrior.
It does not matter that my
     Language is strained
     Damaged by winds
Stronger than Ike, glossy and dark.
I am the salt in the ocean.

I am the salt in the ocean.
It does not matter that I
     Sting your moist lips
     Burn your rose skin
Parch your soft throat, heavy and dark.
I am a glow in the dark.

I am a glow in the dark.
It does not matter that my
     Jellyfish limbs
     Shine only at depths
You cannot see, a forbidden fruit.
I am a fragment of light.

I am a fragment of light.
It does not matter if I
     Land on pale leaves
     Rest in your eyes
Glistening teardrops in the night sky.
I am a spiritual warrior.

(this is not the poem I mentioned in my previous entry)
