Need a Writing Fix? Try Serendipity.

writingfix_logo    While searching for a New Yorker cartoon, I found something even better – WritingFix’s Right-Brained Writing Prompts, which has 59 writing prompts. Serendipity is one of the categories; in it you can create randomly generated combinations of subjects, verbs and adjectives designed to wake up that right brain.

But, if right brain is your strong suit and you need logic to kick in, you can move to the Left-Brained Prompts page, and practice structure and focus.

Granted, its focus is helping students write well, but it’s like totally cool and I’m going to play there at recess a lot.
