A Blessing for Bloggers

October 24, 2008 § 3 Comments

Yesterday, someone sent me a lovely Irish blessing – the sender told me he appreciated its practicality:

May the frost never afflict your spuds.
May the leaves of your cabbage always be free from worms.
May the crows never pick your haystack.
If you inherit a donkey, may she be in foal.

I like its down to earth sensibility, too, and it started me thinking – what would a blessing for bloggers be?

May your internet never go down.
May your fingers always be nimble.
May your Googling bring you endless choices.
When you post, may your comments be bountiful.

I offer this blessing to you and encourage you to use it or create your own.

Don’t we need all the help we can get?
