I Got a Response from Sarah Palin!

sarah_palin_2Can you believe it? Sarah Palin read my Ode to Sarah Palin and called me!

Oh by golly! I read your Ode to Sarah Palin and had a good laugh and just loved it, dontcha know, with the French double entendres and whatnot, or should we say Freedom double entendres, and I believe that America is a poetic nation, with all its words and so forth, there are even words and such in our constitution that maybe don’t rhyme like they do in a rhyming poem, but with defense, we Alaskans have always believed in defending our national poetic traditions when just last week Todd and I were reading a book of poems by the great American freedom fighter Walt Whitmire to our lovely children Muskrat and Tree Bark, and they just loved it too coming from a strong learning home such as our President Bush always endorsed and supported when he was president, because his wife was a librarian, but I gotta tell ya, when we’re in a socialistic country, I’m not sure the rhymes will continue to be there for our children’s children, which would be a great loss to our economy. You betcha!*

Thanks, Dustus, for dropping by and commenting!

I’ll let Mr. Anonymous Contributor know. :-)

It’s so sad. She’s taken to calling me too. Sometimes 3 or 4 times daily. She drones on about offshore drilling, her children, and hunting parties. I suspect she’s drinking but I can’t be sure.

Besides your obvious charms, Ram, I wonder if she wants to make friends ‘inside,’ just in case.

  3. 2009 June 22

Hahaha! Golly, you really have her voice down.

I call her all the time but she never returns my phone calls. When you speak to her next can you please tell her “Alan says it still won’t oscillate.”

    She’ll understand.

It’s not me, really. A friend read my Ode and wrote this response. It’s golden.

But I can ask him to relay the message for you. I don’t know if he will – it’s a bit…shall we say…odd?

      • 2009 June 22

Firstly, you can’t tell me the “oddness” surprised you, Secondly, I loved the ode as well as the response! Too funny!

Riot, betcha Tannerleah will be jealous.

He sure is, FJ. He has a terrible crush on her, but she’s had it with his love slave phone calls, I think.

A perfect response to an excellent post.

Now do you see why I love Sarah? Did you happen to get her phone number? (Not that I would call her at all hours of the night begging to be her love slave).

    • 2009 June 23

I’m sorry, TL. I wasn’t going to mention it, but…she asked me not to give it to you. She changed it recently. I wonder why?

Can she still see Russia from her house? LOL! Too funny!

Your site is good except for the constant garbage about Sarah Palin. Oh well, you have your opinion. Here’s a quote from a very distant relative of mine: Samuel Adams “How strangely will the Tools of a Tyrant pervert the plain Meaning of Words.” This applies nicely to the constant ridicule that fools aim at SP.

Thanks for reading and commenting, Glenda. I respect your opinion, even though we disagree.
